About HomeoRemedy

HomeoRemedy is a homeopathy reference app for people exploring homeopathy, students and practitioners. It has a remedy library, a symptom-based remedy finder and Ask AI, a guided case-taking assistant. It works in English and Hindi.

Where the information comes from

  • Remedy pages quote William Boericke's Pocket Manual of Homoeopathic Materia Medica (1927 edition), which is in the public domain. Some old medical terms are rewritten in modern words (for example "coryza" becomes "runny nose").
  • Health issue pages come from the HomeoRemedy database, which was built from Boericke's Materia Medica. The remedy lists show what homeopathic literature traditionally indicates; they are not a recommendation for your case.

Potency and dose

The HomeoRemedy app shows the usual potency and a general dosing guide for each remedy, because practitioners and students need them. They are a general guide only: a qualified homeopath sets the right potency and dose for each person, going by their symptoms and history.

What we do not publish

  • Claims to cure or treat diseases. Under India's Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, we do not publish remedy lists for the serious diseases on its schedule, such as diabetes, epilepsy or high blood pressure. If you have one of these conditions, please see a doctor.
